Our History – 15 Years in the Making

PredoMedia (Pre-Doe Media) loosely translated “new beginning” is a full service marketing communications agency in the heart of Silicon Valley. We provide the latest marketing tools and experience to companies—large and small—and at any phase of their marketing strategy. We operate as a stand alone marketing agency or as a partner to your marketing department.

PredoMedia Group is the latest iteration of the ever-changing marketing agency originally started in 1995. After working at several local advertising agencies, founder and Creative Art Director, Michael Johnston began to question the “Mad Men” bureaucracy that was in the way of effectively servicing clients. Growing tired of the unspoken rule, “hierarchy before creativity,” and feeling like the system put clients at the losing end, Michael set out to start his own design agency. With a small budget and a strong vision of the agency he aspired to have, PredoMedia Group was created.

Starting out as an advertising agency, our primary focusing was on brand development, messaging, corporate identity and marketing fulfillment. During the mid 90’s we saw an enormous opportunity as the Internet was making its presence in the business sector. The “Dot-Com” era was upon us, and we were right here in Silicon Valley, trying to find enough hours in the day to fulfill demand for our services. It wasn’t long before we saw the fundamental shift in marketing take place—the Internet would change the way we did business forever—and we embraced it.

Today, we focus on brand development and the pursuit of conversion using UX (User Experience), Social Media, Technographic Segmentation, Search Engine Optimization, Open Graph, and Analytics — things not heard of in the 90’s! Yes, we still design business cards and tri-fold brochures — it’s in our blood and we still enjoy the classics.

Continuing Education

We’re always looking for new technology to provide cutting-edge marketing solutions for our clients. Learning new applications, researching industry reports, studying code development and fine tuning design techniques – it’s a never ending exercise. We also educate our clients and encourage them to take a hands-on approach to the marketing programs we implement, fostering a creative, motivating and cost-saving experience.
